Greek Rabbit in Meat Sauce (Stefado) by Judy Nugent

3 rabbits
2 lbs pearl onions
2 or 3 cloves of garlic
3 bay leaves
2 teaspoons tomato sauce (dissolved in water)
1 cup of vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
salt and pepper

Place meat in a pot and add all of the above. Add enough water to cover the meat. Cook on low heat for a few hours until the meat is tender and the sauce is cooked down.
